If you would like a quote or are looking for information about what we do contact our Sales team in the first instance.  If your enquiry needs the more specialised attention of another team or staff member we will transfer you to the right person immediately.  Our Sales, Orders & General Enquiries team can answer all your questions on the services we offer and how we can assist you with your shipping requirements, and are available to provide costs when requested.  They also set-up and monitor all orders placed for shipment with us and are your first point of contact to arrange movement of your goods.  This includes all means of transport including seafreight consolidation and shipping, routings, transit times, airfreight consolidation and handling, as well as break-bulk cargoes and coordination of end-to-end transportation.

Trevor Hastie

Managing Director & Owner

Trevor has made the Customs & Freight industry his life, and has worked in many different areas of the industry including general transport, freight forwarding, Customs brokerage, and a stint with the New Zealand Customs Service, before the ownership of dedicated freight forwarding businesses.  International Freight Logistics NZ Ltd is a family-owned business which started in 1998 in Dunedin by Trevor and his family to put the ‘personal’ back into ‘personal service’ in an industry that is increasingly dominated by offshore owned multi-nationals lacking the understanding of, and interest in, New Zealand’s unique transport and shipping requirements and the challenges that come with them.


Paul Nicholls

General Manager

Paul is a fully qualified New Zealand Customs Broker who has many years of experience in the shipping, freight forwarding and customs industry, and whose vast experience is a huge benefit to our Customers.  He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, majoring in Finance, from the University of Otago.  He has been with IFL for 10 years and local to the Dunedin area since 2001.  


Shonagh Laverty

Export Manager

Exports at IFL are headed by Shonagh Laverty, who is a fully qualified New Zealand Customs Broker and has worked in the freight forwarding and logistics industry in New Zealand for many years with an emphasis on operational processes.  Shonagh is a born and bred Dunedin local and loves to call Dunedin home.


Sam Ramage

Import Manager

Sam is our Import Manager and has been with the Company for four years.  Sam has a strong interest in the Freight Forwarding industry and is a fully qualified New Zealand Customs Broker.  With his knowledge and passion for the industry he will be able to assist with any enquiries you may have relating to importing and shipping to New Zealand.
